1. What is an orgasm?

An Orgasm represents the zenith of human experiences. Orgasm is derived from the Greek word “Orgaos” which means to small with lust. Orgasm is defined as an explosive, cerebrally encoded, neuromuscular response which occurs at the peak of sexual arousal by psycho biological stimuli.

2. Do women ejaculate?

Some women do report spuirting of fluid at the time of orgasm but this is rare. This can be called as female ejaculation which is controversial.

3. What is Phimosis?

The inability to retract the foreskin due to adhesions between the foreskin and the glans penis is called as Phimosis. It may lead to pain, frenulum tear or Paraphimosis during intercourse and also predisposes the individual to recurrent infections which can be prevented by good local hygiene.

4. Is it a fact that a woman must bleed at the first attempt of sexual intercourse?

No, such bleeding usually occurs due to the rupture of hymen in virgins. However, the hymen may be absent from birth or might rupture while playing games, cycling or doing exercise etc. Hence, a woman may not bleed during the first sexual intercourse even though if she is a virgin.

Condom is the best contraceptive, easy to use, economical, safe, and also protects from STDs.

6. Do the curvature, length and girth of penis/ phallus disturb one’s sexual life ?

7. What is Dhatu Srava ?

When a man exerts pressure during defecation, pressure before urination or after urination, a few drops of urethral fluid trickles down as a sticky discharge is called as ‘Dhatu Srava’ or in medical terminology it is known as Spermatorrhea. It needs treatment to be cured.
